Ah the Derptron. So simple yet terrifying in mass numbers. I think GalMil and BRAVE both have a claim to fame for this one. I can't say they're terribly fun to fly but they're cheap and pack just enough of a punch to make them economical. I think of them as glorified Hobgoblins... they're essentially like drones and just about as expensive as one.

If you're a noob, fit one of these up right away and join a fleet - this can also be a classic throwaway tackler.

Absolutely loving this Algos fit. With decent drone skills this thing is an absolutely beast. Enjoy the 60% resists ACROSS THE BOARD for uniform damage mitigation since you'll hull tanking. This also means a single but powerful DCU will take care of your resist, leaving the rig slots for tank or damage. Then couple that with the fact that you can pile on the hull hitpoints and that's some serious tank. The Algos can also put out significant damage even at range.

The scram kite is of course only one of many variants. Putting blasters and an MWD on instead works just fine. Once you catch something your size or bigger in one of these things it's a race to the end of their structure but honestly unless you're getting kited this is one of the most powerful T1 destroyers in the game.
